MINDEF & MHA Group Insurance Scheme

From 1 Jan 2023, the enhanced MINDEF-MHA Group Insurance policies provides significant baseline financial support and protection for our regular officers, national servicemen and eligible volunteers. It is one of the many ways in which we look after your well-being as you go about your duties in keeping Singapore safe and secure.

MHA will provide HUS, HAS, NS Personnel and uniformed volunteers with S$350,000 Group Term Life and S$350,000 Group Personal Injury insurance coverage during the terms of service. This coverage is under the Core Scheme and premiums are paid for by MHA.

If you wish to further cover yourself outside the terms of service or cover your spouse/children at competitive premiums, you can also purchase additional coverage under the Voluntary Scheme.

The Voluntary Scheme comprises of Group Term Life, Group Personal Injury and optional riders such as Living Care, Living Care Plus, Disability Income and Outpatient Medicare.
